Dr. Matt Harris

Over the past 15+ years, Matt Harris, Ed.D. has worked as an educational leader, teacher, consultant, author, presenter and researcher.

Currently, Dr. Harris is the Owner of International EdTech. In his work, Dr. Harris helps schools and Ministries of Education around the world with EdTech strategy, evaluation, and systems design and EdTech companies improve their products and services to better serve educators. He has won several awards, most notably for his inclusive Digital Citizenship program.

Prior to taking on a full-time consulting role, Dr. Harris worked as a senior administrator at independent/international schools and universities in North America and Asia. In these positions, Dr. Harris was responsible for all technology and media aspects of the schools including Information Technology (IT), Educational Technology, and Data Systems. As an educator, he has taught all grade levels from preschool to university graduate school as an ICT and mathematics teacher. Through this work, he has attained administrative and teaching experience with a range of curricula including American, German, IB (PYP, MYP, DP), IPC, and (i)GCSE.

Outside of working directly with educational institutions, Dr. Harris is a frequent keynote speaker and published author on the topics of educational leadership and educational technology. He serves on a number of governing bodies and was the Chair of the Board for the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE). He is currently working as the Chief Architect on the Blueprint for Technology in Education.

Dr. Harris is an Apple Distinguished Educator, Microsoft Innovative Education Expert, Google Certified Innovator, and Common Sense Media Certified Teacher and Ambassador.
